Best wishes from the most thrilling infiltration I've ever done!

This castle started in 1866 as a farm and became later "Château de Miranda", it was designed by the English architect Milner.
It became in 1950 a vacation home for children for the employees of the NMBS and was called "Home de Noisy".
After 1970 it was used for activities and sports holidays for kids.
It became abandoned in 1991 and since then nature and respectless people have caused an alarming level of damage.

The whole set is split in to three editions and features 33 photos in total.

This coal mine was build in 1959 and was operational till 2001.
As often with coal mines it's closure had big impact for the locals as it was the biggest

This once so important location is now these days a forgotten and desolate place where nobody seems to care what role it played in the history of human kind.
In the period that Reagan was president of America, comrade V.V. Putin became commander of this location.
It was operational from 1945 till 1994.

There are many things that can be said about this location but information will be sparse to protect this location.
The origin of this place lies in Gent but became later a independent foundation and it's future is unsure.

What you see here are shots from the elderly stay.

This former missile base was used till 1989 by the Belgians as part of NATO's air defense system.

This railway freight depot was part of a 23 Km long railroad which was used exclusively for freight transport.
Last sign of activity was written on a mirror 'Tschüss 15-12-2006'.
In the near future this area will be redeveloped for civil use.
